Difficult for me to learn as I have been using the user friendly Movie Maker by Microsoft. Overall this is a great entry-level editing software that, with patience, most people can learn and use effectively.
And this happens on my desktop (which far exceeds the minimum system requirements) and my laptop (which meets the minimum system requirements). Also, when you do play back a video with or without additional audio tracks, the program seems to lag in comparison to playing back videos on Windows Media Player and other video apps. It's difficult to explain, but the overall feel I get is that everything is sort of 'crammed' together.
The only reason why I gave it a 4 star out of 5 is because some tools in the interface are placed too closely together or are in places that may confuse users. The tutorials pinnacle provides are useful as well, but they're not as in depth as independent tutorials found on YouTube. If anything, I would suggest looking up tutorial videos about specific edits you may want to do with your videos. The interface can be a little tricky to understand if you're a beginner like myself, but the learning curve is not too steep.
I'm no expert when it comes to video editing software, but this program gets the job done!
